Adding Machine Configurations is one part of configuring Fusion 360 for machining in the Elko Engineering Garage. Follow the steps below to add Machine Configurations to Fusion 360

Download Machine Configurations

  1. The machine configuration files for the CNC Mills in the Elko Engineering Garage are available on the CAM Configuration page.
  2. Select the machine configuration file and select download.

Sign-in Required

You must be sign-in to your ualberta google apps account to download the machine configuration files.

Import Machine Configurations

  1. Start Fusion 360.
  2. Navigate to the Manufacture Workspace.
  3. Under the Manage group, select the Machine Library button.
  4. Create the Engineering Garage machine library.
    1. Navigate to the Local library group under My Machines.
    2. Select the New Library button.
    3. Name the machine library: EngGar.
  5. Import Machine Configurations.
    1. With the EngGar machine library active, click the Import a Machine button.
    2. Select the machine configurations files from the downloads folder.
    3. Repeat for additional machine configurations.
