VCarve Pro

VCarve Pro is a software to program simple toolpaths from vector files or 3D models. VCarve Pro software is available in a free trial, unlimited time version for all and a full license is available on the Garage Design computers. The free trial version contains all the features enabled except for the ability to export tool path files. However, you can create tool path files using a free version and bring the VCarve File to the Garage Design computers to export the tool path file. 

Garage Access

VCarve Pro (full license) is available on the design computers in the Elko Engineering Garage. 

Installation

VCarve Pro can be installed on personal computers from HERE.

Fusion 360

Fusion 360 is CAD software with built-in CAM. This links the CAM operations to the model so they update immediately after model edits. Fusion 360 is free for students and educators.

Garage Access

Fusion 360 is available on the design computers in the Elko Engineering Garage.

HSMWorks (Solidworks Add-In)

HSMWorks is CAM add-in for Solidworks CAD. It has a similar structure to Fusion 360 CAM because it is made by the same developer. Like Fusion 360, CAM operations update with model changes. HSMWorks is only available on design computers in the Garage.

HSMWorks is added to Solidworks on the design computers in the Elko Engineering Garage.
