Learning Resources

Currently, the Elko Engineering Garage does not teach the basics of CAD and CAM software. Fortunately, there are many resource available to do this. Below are some of the Garage Staff's favorite resources for learning Fusion 360 and HSMWorks CAM. Follow the linked headings to their websites.

Fusion 360 Tutorials

Fusion 360 has their own Fundamentals of Milling CAM tutorials on their Self-Guided Learning Website.


NYC CNC

NYC CNC's website and YouTube channel have many videos on CAM and CNC machining with Tormach CNC Mills.

Titans of CNC

Titans of CNC have Fusion 360 CAM tutorial videos, including a series specifically for Tormach Mills.

Autodesk HSM

The Autodesk HSM YouTube channel has tutorials and tips videos on both Fusion 360 CAM and HSMWorks CAM.

HSMWorks Tutorials

HSMWorks has tutorials built into the Solidworks tutorials library. Simply search "tutorials" in the Solidworks search bar (under commands)
