Fusion 360

Fusion 360 is CAD software with built-in CAM. This links the CAM operations to the model so they update immediately after model edits. Fusion 360 is free for students and educators.

Fusion 360 is available on the design computers in the Elko Engineering Garage. 

Installation

Fusion 360 can be installed on personal computers from HERE.

HSMWorks (Solidworks Add-In)

HSMWorks is CAM add-in for Solidworks CAD. It has a similar structure to Fusion 360 CAM because it is made by the same developer. Like Fusion 360, CAM operations update with model changes. HSMWorks is free for students and educators but requires an up-to-date version of Solidworks installed on the computer.
